LATEST WORK: WASH OVER ME

Drawn to the uncanny, my work begins with an exploration of observed forms and textures that stir a visceral, sensual allure. Often this inspiration comes from the natural world, like the tentacles of a jellyfish or the gills on the underside of a mushroom. Other times, I’m captivated by the visual ambiguity of materials, such as how wax can look wet and marble soft. My aim is always to create something visually arresting, whether beautiful, grotesque, or somewhere in between.
